Oak was widely used, already in earlier shipbuilding. An Iconic three-master was manufactured with it: The Vasa. A Swedish ship built by a Dutchman with Polish Oak. Unfortunately, the ship sank but remained well-kept as a result. After lying on the bottom for 333, it is now visible in a museum in Sweden. You can see clearly what a strong material Oak is. That's why we think this ring belongs in our Nautical collection. Note: Each ring is handmade, so new rings or other sizes may differ from the picture.
