This opal species, also called sea opal or opaline, is found in the water. It is characterized by its light blue, transparent color, sometimes with a milky tint. This color is caused by the structure of the stone, where light is reflected by small spheres, causing a blue tint. Properties of blue opal: Color: Blue opal can range from light blue to a deeper night blue color. Optical properties: The blue color is a result of the structure of the stone, where light is reflected by small, interconnected spheres. Hardness: Blue opal has a hardness of 5.5 to 6.5 on the Mohs scale. In spiritual circles, it is associated with the throat chakra, which has to do with self-expression, something often found in sailor stories and songs.

Bubinga. Also called African Rosewood. The wood is pink, to pink red/brown with beautifully visible veins. This is also what makes the wood so beautiful and desirable.

The wood has a light color with beautiful reddish-brown flame markings. This wood itself smells like cherry! Unfortunately, you no longer smell it in the ring because of the resin finish. Also known as the pride of Canada. Yet there are many more different species of Maple in the family. You have a Japanese and Norwegian Maple. A sugar Maple, that's where the syrup comes from. However, actually all Maples are light in color. Maple is also used in Ships. Rarely for the structural parts of ships, because Maple is relatively heavy and does not withstand prolonged exposure to moisture. Maple could, however, find a place in craft interior work or decorative applications on board, especially on luxury yachts or maritime furniture.

Mocore Pommole wood species are suitable for various applications, such as furniture making, interior and construction but certainly also for beautiful rings. The wood color ranges from light pink-brown to dark red-brown. Due to the fine grain, the wood has an attractive appearance.
